Earlier this week, X (formerly Twitter) announced that voice and video calling is now available to everyone.
After offering all users the ability to make voice and video calls, X announced that the system would display each user's IP address when making a call.
This detail was added as a community note to the official X announcement:
How do I block calls on X?
First, open the X app on your smartphone to access the relevant settings.
Tap the envelope icon that you use to access your direct messages and click the settings gear at the top of the screen.
You will now be presented with several options. You can block all video and audio calls directly by unchecking the “Enable voice and video calls” box.
