“With TÜRKSAT 6A we are making a technical revolution in space and satellite technology”

Minister Uraloğlu, who visited Kırşehir Governor Hüdayar Mete Buhara, received a carpet and Neşet Ertaş's record as a gift. Uraloğlu then visited the craftsmen.

Minister Uraloğlu told reporters before his visit to the Kırşehir Ahilik Museum that they are committed to the growth of Turkey's commercial activities.

Stressing that it is not possible to be politically strong without being economically strong on the world stage, Uraloğlu stated that trade is the lifeblood of the economy.

Stating that investments in transportation and communication play an important role in economic success, Uraloğlu said, “Strong transportation infrastructure is the prerequisite for economic growth. Safe, fast and easy transportation is the most important part of trade, production and export. Every newly built road contributes to the employment of the place through which it passes: “It stimulates production, trade and cultural life,” said.

Minister Uraloğlu pointed out that $275 billion has been invested in transportation and communications infrastructure over the past 22 years under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Stating that they increased the length of the divided road, which was 6,100 kilometers in 2002, to about 29,400 kilometers, Uraloğlu said:

“We have increased the number of cities connected by shared roads from 6 to 77. We increased the total length of the bridge, which was 311 kilometers in 2002, to 774 kilometers. We increased our tunnel length, which was 50 kilometers, to 753 kilometers. We We have expanded our motorway network from 1,714 kilometers to 3,000,726 kilometers. Emphasizing that they have made major investments in communication infrastructure, Uraloğlu said, “We have achieved a breakthrough in our communication infrastructure that is at African levels. Today we have a total of 94.3 million broadband Internet subscribers, of which 74.8 million are mobile subscribers.” The length of our fiber optic network is approximately 550,000 kilometers and the length of our fiber optic infrastructure is approximately 550,000 kilometers. Ministry's Investments in Kırşehir

Regarding investments in Kırşehir, Uraloğlu stated that they have invested around 14.5 billion liras in Kırşehir's transportation and communication infrastructure over the past 22 years.

Stating that he would give Kırşehir two pieces of good news, Uraloğlu continued as follows:

“We are starting our 20-kilometer Kırşehir Ring Road works, the project of which we have approved by including the first in our investment program. The priority required in our project is the 10.5 kilometer section between the highway intersection and the terminal intersection. We will advertise it on March 18th. There are 7 different intersections under the project and 5 of them are It will be built under the section that we will tender. Our second good news is the 38-kilometer Tuzköy-Kesikköprü road project, which will provide transportation from Kırşehir to Cappadocia Airport in Nevşehir. We have put the project on our ministry's agenda. About 1.3 billion will be spent on our project, which we will include in the investment program as soon as possible. “We expect investment costs of 1,000,000 lira.”

Wishing that the projects would be beneficial, Minister Uraloğlu said: “Mucur-Karahasanlı Road is also in the investment program, we will build this road in the coming period. I don't want to mention our high-speed train project that comes on our city's agenda from time to time. The project between Kırıkkale and Kırşehir on the high-speed train axis that will connect the Black Sea to the Mediterranean. “We have completed it. Our project work between Kırşehir and Nevşehir continues,” he said.
