In his post on his NSosyal account, Minister Bolat noted that the assessments made by President Erdoğan under the Türkiye Century Strong Center for Investment program have increased the competitiveness of industrialists and exporters.
Hoping that the steps taken under the program will be beneficial for Türkiye, Bolat noted the following in his post:
“We are reducing the corporate tax for manufacturing exporters to 9 percent and for other exporters to 14 percent. We are expanding the tax advantages in the Istanbul financial center and increasing the 50 percent tax reduction on transit trade and foreign purchase and sale proceeds to 100 percent. This exemption also applies outside the Istanbul financial center and 95 percent of the income from these activities is exempt from tax for 20 years. We also grant entrepreneurs who provide services in the Provided abroad, a tax exemption.” In order to create an investor-friendly ecosystem with the “One Stop Office” and “Terminal Istanbul” projects, we are also introducing wage exemptions for qualified personnel. With these steps, we encourage global companies to move their regional headquarters to Türkiye and make our country a center of attraction.”
