The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) has announced labor force statistics for November.
Accordingly, the number of unemployed people in the age group 15 years and over across Türkiye was determined to be 3 million 98 thousand people in November, an increase of 54 thousand compared to the previous month. The unemployment rate was measured at 8.6 percent, an increase of 0.1 points.
The unemployment rate was 7 percent for men and 11.8 percent for women.
The unemployment rate among the young population aged 15 to 24 remained at the same level in the reporting month as in the previous month and reached 15.4 percent. The unemployment rate in this age group was calculated at 10.6 percent for men and 24.4 percent for women.
