This agreement was a strategic step to expand the satellite capacity of Türkiye.” converted into service exports on the international market.”

“The agreement is a clear sign of Türkiye’s ambition in the global broadcasting market.”

Noting that the agreement reinforces the view that Türksat 6A is one of Türkiye's most strategic moves in space, Uraloğlu also pointed out that it proves that Türkiye has become a country that can provide services to the world with its own technology.

Uraloğlu pointed out that the agreement marks the beginning of a new era in Türkiye's satellite exports and expressed the following assessment:

“Sri Lanka's 50 television stations will now continue to broadcast over Türksat 6A. This is not just a capacity lease, it is a clear sign of Türkiye's power in the space and its claim on the global broadcast market. This agreement is one of the strongest steps ever taken in the export of Türkiye satellite services. Today, through Türksat, a broadcasting capacity that many countries do not have is offered to the global market through Türksat.”

Stating that exports to Sri Lanka show the level Türksat has reached in international competition, Uraloğlu said: “With Türksat 6A, Turkey has become one of the countries that not only monitors but also controls the world satellite market. Today we sit at the same table with the largest satellite companies in the world, serving the same market. This agreement is the clearest indicator of this.”

“We export technology and brand value with Türksat 6A”

Stating that Türksat has become the broadcast distribution center of not only Turkey but a wide region from Europe to the Middle East, from Central Asia to South Asia, Uraloğlu emphasized that a television studio based in Sri Lanka can reach millions of households at the same time thanks to Türksat infrastructure.

Uraloğlu emphasized that a country's influence in the international broadcasting market is only possible with a large coverage area and strong satellite infrastructure:

“This image shows: 'Türkiye is now a global player in satellite technology with its own local and national products.' It is the most concrete and powerful proof of the proverb. Although it may seem that with this agreement we are only carrying out publications, in reality we are exporting Türkiye's technological expertise, engineering power and production capacity. “With Türksat 6A, we export not only services, but also technology and brand value.”

Uraloğlu pointed out that Türksat's satellite export capacity is growing day by day and said:

“These agreements directly contribute to Türkiye's brand value. Today, Türksat is not only an institution that broadcasts broadcasts, but also a technology brand that exports its technology, sits at the table with foreign operators and participates in global competition. These strong steps that began with Sri Lanka will soon lead to new agreements with other countries in the region. Türksat has turned this capacity into a strategic opportunity not only for broadcasting and Internet services, but also for strengthening regional cooperation in the areas of cultural interaction and production digital content.” and media technologies.”
