According to the ministry, “VivaTech 2026”, which brings together Türkiye's technology, innovation and investment ecosystem with international stakeholders, will welcome its visitors until June 20.
The Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Presidential Office of Investment and Finance participated in the trade fair, one of the largest technology and entrepreneurship events in Europe, with the Türkiye Pavilion.
Kacır visited the ministry's stand at the fair, which was attended by 26 technology startups from Türkiye, and made statements.
Explaining that they accompany technology startups on their way to the world stage, Kacır said: “We are at the VivaTech technology summit in France. This is a platform where technology startups from all over the world meet and meet with investors. We brought 26 of our technology startups from Turkey. 14 of these startups are our companies, which are candidates for the future Turkish technology startups in the Turcorn 100 program with a value of over a billion dollars.” he said.
Kacır also mentioned that entrepreneurs made presentations as part of the fair and said:
“They promote their products and services to investors. They make an important contribution to the global awareness of both themselves and Türkiye's national technology movement. As the Ministry of Industry and Technology, together with our Presidential Investment and Finance Office, we support the participation of Türkiye's technology startups in international platforms within the Turcorn 100 program.”
“We have more than 13,000 technology startups”
Pointing out that Türkiye has built a huge research, development and innovation ecosystem with the National Technology Move, Kacır gave the following assessment:
“We have more than 13,000 technology startups in our 114 technoparks. Almost 3,000 of these startups have just been born and are at an early stage. Our goal is to create 100,000 technology startups from Türkiye by 2030 and reach the valuation of our Turcorns, which are Turkish technology startups with a value of more than a billion dollars, to $100 billion.”
Pointing out that they will continue to advance the national technology push under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Kacır said: “We will continue to strengthen our aspiration to be a country that can develop its own domestic and national technology products and services in all areas with its own resources and with its own children and can offer them to the world competitively.” he said.
