When looking at the distribution of Turkish exports to neighboring countries by sector, “chemical substances and products” came first.

From this sector, exports worth 4 billion 342 million 989 thousand dollars were made to 7 neighboring countries. The sector in question was followed by “cereals, pulses, oilseeds and their products” with 3 billion 159 million 148 thousand dollars and “furniture, paper and forest products” with 2 billion 435 million 882 thousand dollars.

The sector with the least exports was recorded as “ornamental plants and products” with 38 million 43 thousand dollars.

The calculations compile data on Türkiye's border neighbors, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Iraq, Iran, Syria and Greece. Since there is no official data for Nakhichevan, trade with this region is not included in the calculation. There is no direct official land trade between Türkiye and Armenia.
