Trump cancels US delegation visit to Pakistan

In his statement to Fox News, Trump explained that the US delegation decided at the last minute to cancel their trip to Pakistan.

In the news, Trump told his special envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner, who were preparing to travel to Pakistan, that he had canceled the trip, saying, “No, you're not going to take an 18-hour flight to get there.” He was quoted as saying.

Trump also told his team: “We have all the resources at our disposal, they can call us whenever they want, but now you're not going to take 18-hour flights just to sit around and have empty conversations.” It was stated that he said.

This statement by US President Trump came after the news that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Erakchi has left Pakistan.

The Iranian side had earlier said that no “direct meeting” with the US delegation in Pakistan was planned and only an indirect message could be conveyed through Pakistan.

He said canceling a trip does not mean the war will start again

In his brief statement to American news site Axios, US President Trump said that the cancellation of the US delegation's planned trip to Pakistan does not mean that the war will start again, saying: “No. It doesn't mean anything like that. We haven't thought about it yet.” he said.

The US President said: “We have all the trump cards in our hands. We will not go there and do nothing.” gave his assessment.

On the other hand, Trump, who posted on his social media account on the same topic, claimed that there is “tremendous internal conflict and leadership confusion” in Iran, saying, “Nobody knows who is responsible, not even himself. Besides, we have all the trump cards, they don't! If they want to talk, all they have to do is call.” he said.
