The D8 organization of Türkiye has gained dynamics with Member States, cooperation agreements and joint projects.
According to the data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (Turkstat), Türkiye received exports in 5 years from 2020 to 2024 in a period from 2020 to 2024, 65.9 billion of these countries in the same period.

Türkiye made the highest exports after Egypt in the same period. During this time, $ 19.7 billion was imported, $ 14.5 billion. During the period 2020 to 2024, the foreign trade volume between Torkiye and Egypt was $ 34.3 billion.
During this time, Torkiye gave excess foreign trade in the trade with Egypt, Iran, Azerbaijanese, Pakistan and Nigeria. The above -mentioned surplus was calculated as a trade with 5.2 billion US dollars with Egypt, $ 2.5 billion in the trade in Iran, in the trade of 7.6 billion US dollars with Azerbaijan, $ 1.8 billion in retail with Pakistan and around $ 3 billion in retail with Nigeria.
During the period of January and April this year, a total of $ 4.1 billion exports were exported to the member states of the D8 organization and $ 5.4 billion from these countries. Therefore, a total of $ 9.5 billion trading volume were achieved with these countries.

Türkiye has joint work and cooperation in many areas such as the defense industry, agriculture and energy with D8 countries.
In this context, the agreement between Torkiye and Indonesia has been developed into this country by the Turkish aviation industry (Tusaş) National Muharip Aircraft Kaan, 48 units in the country. In accordance with the agreement that shows the development of the domestic and national defense industry in Torkiye, it is expected that Indonesia is used in production.
In addition to this development, an agreement was signed between Torkiye and Indonesia to work together in the field of disaster and emergency management.
With the support of Torkiye, unmanned land vehicles are produced in Egypt
Türkiye aims to realize important collaborations with 17 agreements that were signed with D8 member Egypt last year. In this regard, the two countries focused on increasing cooperation, especially in the rail and agricultural sectors, and to improve their joint work in the field of health and energy.
In addition, an agreement between Havelsan and the Kadir factory of the Arabian industrial organization in Egypt was signed at the beginning of this year. With the agreement, with the technical and licensed support of the Turkish side, it is planned to produce unmanned land vehicles in the factory.
Cooperation in the energy sector with Iran and Azerbaijan
Attention attracts attention between Torkiye and Iran, especially in the area of energy. In this context, at the beginning of the year, the new agreement that the Turkmenistan natural gas led through the Swap method through the Iran became to play. This agreement is expected to consolidate Türkiye's energy supply security and strengthen the key role in the energy trade.
In the past year, agreements between Torkiye and Azerbaijan were signed, especially in the areas of taxation, veterinary and university formation.
In addition, the approval of the cooperation agreement for the natural gas area signed between the two countries in 2024 was appropriate. The agreement aims to increase the collaboration, the sale, delivery, exchange and transit of natural gas from Azerbaijan and third countries.
The infrastructure projects of the construction sector in countries such as Malaysia, Nigeria and Pakistan will offer material and technology support for material and technology support.
