The number of guards in the cyber world is almost 7,500

According to the 2023 Activity Report of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, regular monitoring and evaluation activities continue within the framework of the National Cybersecurity Strategy and Action Plan (2020-2023) to implement 8 strategic objectives, 40 action points and 75 implementation steps that ensure the realization of these Ensure goals.

So far, 9 exercises, including 7 national and 2 international, have been organized, including sectoral exercises.

Technically, the cybersecurity organization in Turkey consists of sectoral SOMEs and corporate SOMEs, which carry out their activities under the coordination of the National Cyber ​​​​Incident Response Center.

In critical infrastructure sectors, the number of sectoral SOMEs reached 14 and the number of corporate SOMEs reached 2,193. The current number of experts registered on the SOME Communication Platform is 7,480.

While the evolution of SOMEs' maturity levels continues to be monitored regularly, efforts to increase maturity levels will also continue.

The number of institutions participating in the KamuNet-Public Virtual Network, created to ensure data traffic between public institutions and organizations through a virtual network isolated from the Internet and more secure against physical and cyber attacks, reached 140.

The number of services provided through KamuNet aimed at minimizing cybersecurity risks exceeded 1,300.
