According to the compilation of Google data, the majority of Internet traffic in Turkey occurs on YouTube, while the most frequently asked searches on this platform attracted attention.
In Türkiye, which has made a name for itself by exporting TV series and films to the world, TV series have secured a place on the list of “most frequently asked searches on YouTube”.
In this regard, 5 television series stood out in the top 10 most searched queries in the January-June period. First place went to “This Sea Will Overflow”, one of the most interesting productions of recent times, followed by “Underground”.
While the term “songs” stood out in third place, searches for “Manifest,” “Far City,” “Minecraft” and “You Are the One I Love” followed.
It turned out that the most common search queries from users included the term “song” in addition to “songs”. This was followed by the queries “Eşref Rüya” and “Auto”.
Music accompanied the TV series
Compared to the same period last year, it was noticeable that newly launched TV series reached the top during this period. In 2025, the phrases “songs,” “Far City,” “Minecraft,” “song,” and “Eşref Rüya” also appeared.
In addition, when looking at “Requests on the Rise” (which showed the highest increase compared to the previous period), it was found that in addition to the TV series in the top 10, “Dare 17”, “Kaaba'de hacılar hu der Allah”, “Survivor”, “Young” and “Better” were also included in this list.
Turkish influence on the list of “emerging requests” in the world
When looking at the most frequently asked search queries on YouTube worldwide, the list has not changed compared to the previous year, in contrast to Türkiye.
In this context, it was found that the most common search queries worldwide were “song”, “film”, “video”, “songs” and “DJ”.
When “Queries on the Rise” were examined from January to June this year, searches for “Underground,” whose TV series was grabbing attention, stood out first, followed by “TikTok Mashup 2026” and “Trending Music.”
It turned out that the query “trending music” was followed by the expressions “You are my favorite” and “Bairan song”.
