The most popular colors for automobiles were gray and white.

According to the Turkish Statistics Institute (TUIK), the number of vehicles registered on the road fell by 11.7 percent to 962,739 in the first half of the year compared to the same period last year. 456,000 of the vehicles in question were registered as passenger cars.

When looking at the color distribution of cars registered during this period, it was found that the most preferred color was “grey”.

In the 6 months of the year, 190,000 529 gray cars were registered on the road. This was followed by white with 117,000 4, black with 54,000 144, blue with 44,000 877, green with 25,000 379, red with 14,000 634 and brown with 5,000 988. During this period, 1,576 orange and 1,370 yellow cars were registered for traffic.

Renault brand cars were the most preferred

If you look at the distribution of registered cars by brand in the period January-June this year, Renault comes to the fore.

In the first half of the year, 15,000 Renault 136 cars were registered for use. This was followed by Hyundai with 5,000 248, Volkswagen with 4,000 908 and Fiat with 4,000 791.
