Emphasizing that home care support is an important family-oriented care service that has been introduced since 2006 to support disabled people, especially in the family environment, Minister Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş said: “We consider it a priority for our disabled citizens to receive home care services and thus maintain their family integrity. With this help, we support the preservation and strengthening of family unity by living with their families or relatives, without the environment in which the disabled people live.” he said.
Recalling that 13,878 lira per beneficiary was paid per beneficiary per month within the scope of home care assistance in the period January-July 2026, Minister Göktaş said:
“This month, we deposited a total of 7 billion lira in home care assistance into accounts for fully dependent citizens and their families who are cared for at home. Currently, 516,000 of our citizens benefit from home care assistance. With this payment, we have provided a total of 48.6 billion lira in support so far in 2026. I hope that the payments will benefit all of our disabled citizens and their families.”
Home care assistance was increased to 15,775 lira
Stating that with the new salary coefficient regulation for civil servants for July, the home care assistance increased to 15,775 liras for July, Göktaş announced that the increased payments will be deposited into the beneficiaries' accounts in August.
