The Halal Accreditation Agency's administrative penalties have been increased

The “Halal Accreditation Agency Notice 2025 on Reassessment of Administrative Penalties” was published in the Official Gazette.

The notification applied a reassessment rate of 43.93 percent determined for 2024 to administrative penalties under Additional Article 1 of the Law on Certain Provisions Concerning the Halal Accreditation Agency.

Accordingly, the lower limit of penalties, which will be valid until the end of 2925, was set at 228 thousand 71 liras and 50 kuruş, and the upper limit was set at 2 million 280 thousand 715 liras.

The communiqué will come into force on January 1, 2025.
