Candidates taking the exam must meet the general conditions set out in Article 48, paragraph 1 of Civil Service Law No. 657, have the necessary documents and certificates before the date of publication of the notice, have no travel restrictions within the country, have no obstacle to work outside working hours and on weekends due to the duty to be performed, have not been dismissed from service or profession while working in a public institution, and must not be older than 35 years at the time of the application deadline.
1 seamstress and 1 tailor, 1 wardrobe technician, 1 lighting expert for the DOB Ankara Directorate, 3 stage mechanics, 1 lighting expert, 1 guitar maker for the DOB Istanbul Directorate, 2 seamstresses, 1 tailor, 1 wardrobe technician for the DOB Izmir Directorate, 1 tailor, 1 stage machinist, 1 stage carpenter, 1 sculptor for the Mersin DOB Directorate, 1 seamstress, 1 lighting expert, a stage blacksmith and a stage carpenter will be hired for the Antalya DOB Directorate, and four stage mechanics will be hired for the Samsun DOB Directorate.
The prerequisite for appointment as a sculptor is a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Sculpture, as well as passing the application or assessment test. Applicants for this position must be under 35 years of age at the time of application and have a general knowledge of the performing arts.
Requirements for appointment as a stage mechanic are a diploma from a technical college or vocational school, the ability to assemble wood and iron work and the ability to use the small hand tools used in these areas, the inability to lift heavy loads or suffering from an illness that prevents him/her from continuously fulfilling his/her duty, successful participation in the application or evaluation examination and general knowledge of subjects in the performing arts.
In order to be appointed as a stage blacksmith, it is necessary that applicants have at least one of the master's, journeyman's or apprenticeship certificates received from the training centers in the fields of metal technology, metal carpentry, metal management, sheet metal processing, provided they have a secondary school diploma, or have a degree from the relevant departments of vocational and technical high schools, or have a graduate from the relevant departments of higher education institutions in this area. To be appointed to this position, candidates must also successfully pass the practical or assessment test.
The prerequisite for appointment as a lighting specialist is a minimum of a degree in the electrical and electronics department of a vocational or technical college or the electrical/electronic engineering, stage lighting and sound engineering departments of a higher educational institution, theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of stage lighting technology and successful participation in the application or assessment test.
The prerequisite for the appointment as a stage carpenter is that the applicants have at least one of the master journeyman's degrees in the fields of wood technology, furniture and interior design, carpentry, which they acquired in training centers for high school graduates, or have acquired a degree in the relevant departments of vocational and technical high schools or in the furniture and decoration and interior design departments of higher education institutions.
To be hired as a seamstress or dressmaker or wardrobe maker, applicants must have a degree from vocational/technical colleges in the fields of fashion design technology, textile technology, garment production technology, handicraft technology or an associate's or bachelor's degree in the fields of handicrafts, traditional handicrafts, textile and fashion design, costume design, stage decoration and costumes and stage design from universities.
Candidates for the luthier appointment must have graduated from colleges, faculties, academies or conservatories that offer music and performing arts training.
