The Health Ministry shared the latest data on the number of deaths and injuries in Israeli attacks since March 2.
Accordingly, the number of people who lost their lives in Israeli attacks during this period rose to 4,319 and 12,203 people were injured.
In its statement yesterday, the ministry reported that 4,304 people had lost their lives in Israeli attacks on Lebanon since March 2.
The Israeli attacks continue
Israel continued its attacks despite the ceasefire in the region and the US-Iran deal, which reportedly included Lebanon.
According to the official Lebanese agency NNA, an Israeli unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacked the town of Kefer Tebnit in the southern province of Nabatiye.
It was also reported that an Israeli UAV attacked the town of Berashit in the Bint Jubeil district and intermittent artillery fire and machine gun fire were applied to the town at the same time as the attack.
The Israeli army also destroyed some houses with explosives in the town of Konin in the Bint Jubeil district.
The attack, in which the Israeli army targeted a vehicle carrying a UAV in the town of Upper Nabatiye in southern Lebanon at midday, killed a woman, her mother and two foreigners who were checking their home in the town.
Israel's attacks in Lebanon and the ceasefire process
The Israeli army launched heavy airstrikes on Lebanon on March 2, occupying many cities in the south of the country.
The Lebanese government announced that the number of people displaced by the attacks in the country had exceeded one million.
In his April 24 statement, US President Donald Trump announced that the 10-day temporary ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel, which came into force on April 17, has been extended for another three weeks.
As a result of the third round of US-mediated talks between Lebanon and Israel on May 14 and 15, it was decided to extend the ceasefire by 45 days from May 17.
Iran and the United States announced that they had reached a 14-article agreement on June 14 as part of the Pakistan-brokered negotiation process, which stipulated that the war should end and the problems between the parties should be resolved through negotiations. The agreement includes an end to the war, including in Lebanon.
On the other hand, after the fifth round of direct negotiations between Israel and Lebanon in Washington, a “framework agreement” was signed between Lebanon and Israel on June 26.
