The central bank's reserves reached $171.5 billion

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) publishes weekly money and banking statistics.

Accordingly, as of May 8, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves increased by $3 billion,964 million to $60 billion,564 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves as of May 1 amounted to the level of 56 billion 600 million dollars.

During this period, gold reserves increased by $2 billion 82 million, from $108 billion 883 million to $110 billion 965 million.

So, in the week of May 8, the Central Bank's total reserves increased by $6 billion,46 million compared to the previous week, from $165 billion,483 million to $171 billion,529 million.
