The card payments were 1.75 trillion pounds in March

Accordingly, the number of credit cards in Türkiye of 132.3 million, the number of debit cards of 198.1 million and the number of prepaid cards 112.7 million were reached from March. The increase in the number of tickets was 9 percent of credit cards compared to the same period of the previous year, 3 percent of bank cards and 21 percent in advance payments.

Credit cards, bank cards and prepaid cards in March with the total payment amount by 48 percent to £ 153 billion.

The number of contactless payments with cards rose by 15 percent and exceeded 1 billion 50 million. The contactless payment amount rose by 73 percent to £ 566 billion. In March, 4 of each 5 card payment in shop was realized without contact.
