The exhibition, organized under the umbrella of SATShow with the inclusion of the defense industry-focused event “GovMilSpace”, which has been known in the industry for many years under the name “Satellite”, took place from March 23rd to 26th in Washington, the US capital.
According to TAI, the company brought Türkiye's space capabilities to the world stage at the trade fair, one of the most important meetings of the global space and satellite industry.
Located at the Türkiye Pavilion set up as part of the event, TAI attracted the attention of participants and global industry representatives by exhibiting the models of the national communications satellite TÜRKSAT 6A and the earth observation satellite GÖKTÜRK Renewal.
TAI, which continues to advance Türkiye's goal of total independence in space with its communications and earth observation satellite projects and its many years of engineering experience, has once again demonstrated on the international stage the advanced level Türkiye has achieved in satellite technology with the vision and systems presented at the exhibition.
TAI carries out strategic projects in high-resolution satellite production
As TAI continues its space activities, it is implementing strategic projects, particularly in the area of high-resolution satellite production.
Within the scope of Earth observation satellite programs, Türkiye's space imaging capabilities will be brought to the highest level with the GÖKTÜRK Renewal satellite, which has a high-resolution electro-optical (EO) payload.
Work continues on the GÖKTÜRK-3 satellite project, which includes a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) payload capable of providing high-resolution images day and night in all weather conditions.
These high-tech projects enable Türkiye to fully cover its critical civil and military needs such as intelligence, environmental monitoring, agriculture and disaster management with national resources.
With the aim of being an active and decisive player in the world's rapidly growing space economy, TAI views “Satellite 2026” as a strategic opportunity.
TAI carried out various business development activities during the event to increase its market share in the global satellite market, establish strategic partnerships and support export-led growth, and held key meetings with international authorities, potential customers and suppliers.
In line with Türkiye's vision of “National Technology Move”, TAI Türkiye wants to continue to represent Türkiye in the sky and space and develop the technologies of the future today.
