According to an explanation of Teknofest, articles and painting competitions by Mavi Vatan, which take place as part of the event, they want to understand the maritime authority of Torkiye, national security policy and the geopolitical vision of young generations and develop scientific, critical and creative perspectives.
As part of the article competition, the high school, bachelor and doctoral students are asked to prepare original items between 500 and 1000 words. The articles created are shared via the Social Media platform.
This competition aims to strengthen the research and critical thinking skills in students and academic analyzes and scientific approaches at the university level.
The Mavi Vatan Painting competition aims to develop the fantasy and expression skills of students of the elementary and secondary students with painting.
The participants are asked to prepare an original painting with the topic “Blue Vatan”. Prepared work is shared via NSocial.
All students who are successful in both competitions are entitled to participate in the Teknofest Blue Vatan Festival, which will take place on August 28th to 29th at the Istanbul Shipyard Command. In this way, it aimed to increase the interest of young generations in maritime culture and to move the awareness of the “blue homeland” into the future.

Teknofest Blue Vatan will organize visitors who want to explore the maritime spirit from August 30th to 31st. Those who want to take part in the event where participation is free can register online.
As part of the program, which focuses on maritime and underwater technologies, the unmanned water system competition in Teknofest Istanbul, the underwater rocket competition and unmanned marine vehicle competition will take place. In addition, TCG Anadolu, TCG Istanbul, TCG Burgazada, TCG Oruçreis, TCG Nusret, TCG Sakarya and TCG Hızı Ries are exhibited like the leading ships of the Turkish Navy.
