The 13th Traditional Iftar Program of the International Foundation for Science, Thought and Art (ISTAF) was held in Istanbul with the participation of Minister Bolat.
In his speech here, Bolat mentioned that he has worked in many voluntary organizations so far and said: “Our beloved Prophet said: 'The best people are those who are useful to others.' “I have personally experienced that service to society, people, homeland and our country, as the Hadith says, is one of the greatest blessings in the world.” he said.
Stating that Eid is approaching but Muslims are sad, Bolat said: “As we reflect on the situation of our Palestinian brothers who are groaning under bombs and struggling to survive and starve under the massacres and genocides of cruel Israel, we should be aware of the great responsibility that we all bear as their brothers.” he said.
Explaining that they traveled to many countries, held meetings, attended summits and signed agreements, Bolat said:
“I would like to express that Turkey is certainly the country that is struggling most with the problems and hardships of Muslims in the Muslim world, and the leader who carried this as a flag-bearer was our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Why are we doing this? Because we grew up with the consciousness of the Ummah and a motto that knows that we should be sad when a thorn pricks the hands of our brothers. Again, in accordance with ours Believe, let’s take care of it.” The needs of the innocent, the oppressed and the suffering and oppressed people must be our motto as Muslims: “At the point where equality, justice and we do no harm to anyone and do no evil, we never want anyone else to touch us or do evil to Muslims and we oppose it.”
Explaining that they believe it is necessary to fight for our neighbors, other Muslim brothers and the oppressed humanity in many parts of the world, Bolat said: “The more we strengthen our unity and solidarity as a country, nation and people, consolidate our ranks and concentrate our power, in this sense, we strengthen our economy and become a center of power with our stronger army, our strong defense industry and our strong economy. No one can look at us with disrespect.” he said.
“We have a respectable and respected country and a leader who is envied and valued by the whole world.”
Referring to the wars in the region in recent years, Minister Bolat said:
“Israel's attacks in Palestine, Gaza, Yemen, Lebanon, Israel's attacks on Syria and most recently the attacks on Iran, Iran's attacks on other neighboring Gulf states. In such an atmosphere there is a country in the middle, almost a monument of stability in the middle. This is the Republic of Turkey. The most important reason for this is strong stability, strong administration, great developments in the economy, defense industry, technology, education, health, environment, energy, great developments in transportation in all areas, not only.” the surrounding countries.” “We have a respectable and respected country and a leader who is envied and valued by the whole world.”
Pointing out that there is great competition in the economy, Bolat said: “The wind of protectionism is rapidly increasing in the West,” made his assessment.
Bolat explained that young people need to receive better education and ensure that they are well-equipped, well-trained and professional in the cruel and fierce competitive winds of the world, and also ensure that they earn a living.
Bolat emphasized that they need to improve the quality of life of all segments of society, stating that stable management and economic governance without economic crises have brought Türkiye in the 23-year period to date.
“The number of OIZs increased from 170 to 340”
Trade Minister Bolat said that during this period the national income in dollars increased six times, reaching 1 trillion 600 billion dollars, and that the national income per capita was 18.40 dollars.
Bolat described Türkiye's rise to the league of high-income countries and the development of universities in the country, pointed to the development of organized industrial zones (OIZs), and stated that the number of OIZs increased from 170 to 340.
Pointing out that Türkiye is one of the countries with the best healthcare system in the world, Bolat said: “1.6 million patients come from abroad every year. They are treated in Turkish hospitals.” he said.
Bolat mentioned that there are 17 million pensioners in the country and their pensions have been paid continuously for 23 years.
Bolat said it was legitimate to fight for power: “But it is not right to do so by denigrating one's own country, criticizing one's economy and constantly spreading disaster and crisis literature.” he said.
“We will serve our Türkiye more”
Stating that the country has experienced two of the worst earthquakes this region has ever seen, Bolat said: “We removed the rubble in Kahramanmaraş within three years, built brand new cities and handed over the keys to our citizens. The remaining landscaping, construction and infrastructure works will be completed this year and next.” he said.
Recalling that $90 billion in resources have been allocated for earthquake spending, Bolat said:
“Some more will be spent. After that, these resources will continue to be spent on better living conditions of our economy, pensioners, artisans, farmers, workers and civil servants. Those who have no responsibility can talk with generous promises. Those who cannot even pay the salaries of their workers in the communities they own, those who enormously increase water and transport prices, criticize us, but our citizens see everything better. Those who serve this country, act, take their people, their homeland and their land.” forward?” “Our citizens are aware of this.”
Emphasizing that the Terror Free Türkiye Process laid the foundation for unity and brotherhood, Bolat continued his words as follows:
“Despite this ring of fire around us, we are ruling our country under the leadership of our President without a single fingernail of our 86 million brothers being harmed. We will serve our country more and there are very good days ahead for our country. Turkey has successfully overcome all crises and will overcome future ones as well. It will continue to be the symbol of peace and stability in its region with its successful foreign policy and strong leadership.”
