The Airbus A320 NEO/CEO Full Flight Simulator contract was signed between HAVELSAN and IFTC and this collaboration was announced at the World Aviation Training Summit in Orlando, USA.
Under the contract, HAVELSAN will provide the Airbus A320 NEO/CEO simulator with three different engine types to IFTC.
IFTC, Turkey's first independent simulator training center, offers its customers training in two different training centers in Istanbul and Antalya.
Both centers work with five complete flight simulators for the Airbus A320 and Boeing B737NG aircraft.
Supporting a variety of airlines and recognized training organizations, IFTC meets pilot training requirements with precision and excellence.
IFTC is investing in expanding flight simulator capacity and training services, as well as expanding infrastructure in training centers to meet demand at home and abroad.
HAVELSAN supports IFTC's efforts to expand its pilot training infrastructure to strengthen Turkey's position as a leading global pilot training center. In this context, it provides additional training equipment to ensure the highest quality and efficient training capacity for the goal of improving Turkey's status.
The installation of the HAVELSAN Airbus A320 NEO/CEO simulator will take place at the beginning of the 2024 summer season. Under this contract, IFTC will deploy a full flight simulator manufactured in Turkey for the first time. This will be an important milestone for Türkiye, IFTC and HAVELSAN.
