Mustafa Gültepe was re-elected as TİM president

The 33rd TİM Ordinary General Assembly with elections was held all day at the Haliç Congress Center. The TİM Export Champions Awards Ceremony was also held within the framework of the General Assembly with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat, Finance and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek, Agriculture and Forestry Minister İbrahim Yumaklı, Justice Minister Akın Gürlek, Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi and high-level participation.

Mustafa Gültepe, who was the only candidate to take part in the General Assembly election, was elected TİM President for the second time with all valid votes.

In his speech after the result was announced, Mustafa Gültepe thanked the TİM delegates for their trust and support.

Emphasizing that the unity and solidarity shown by the export family in a difficult process is very significant, Gültepe said: “Despite the difficulties at the global and national levels, in the first four years we managed to increase exports of goods and services. With the projects we carried out during this period, we have once again strengthened the foundations of structural change. The second four years will be a period of acceleration towards our goal of making Türkiye among the top 10 exporting countries to bring.” he said.

Emphasizing that they cannot achieve this goal by increasing exports only in tonnage, Mustafa Gültepe continued his words as follows:

“We will use high technology, research and development, innovation, design, branding and double transformation as a lever for value-added exports. We will turn double transformation into an advantage for our country in global competition. We will bring together all stakeholders of the ecosystem and bring Türkiye's productive power with the global vision during the national export week that we will organize every year. We will work with NGOs and contribute to setting economic policies to regain our competitiveness. We will build a worthy convention center.” TİM and the export family.”

Gültepe added that he believes that with the current understanding of unity and solidarity in the export family, they will have a very productive four years.
