The Israeli army continued its attacks on southern Lebanon despite the ceasefire that came into force on April 17.
The written statement from the Lebanese Ministry of Health said that two people lost their lives in the Hujayr Valley in the Israeli army's airstrikes in the south yesterday, one in the city of Sarifa, one in the city of Yatir and two in the city of Tulin.
The statement also noted that one person was injured in the cities of Yatir and Hırbıt Silm.
Israeli attacks on Lebanon and ceasefire
The Israeli army launched heavy airstrikes on Lebanon on March 2, occupying many cities in the south of the country.
The Lebanese government also announced that the number of displaced people exceeded 1 million 162,000 during this period.
US President Donald Trump announced that the 10-day temporary ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel, which came into force on April 17, has been extended for another three weeks.
