Most exports in November came from the automotive industry

According to the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), total exports increased by 2.2 percent in November compared to the same period last year, reaching 22 billion 718.2 million dollars.

In the month in question, the automobile sector, one of the industrial group sectors, achieved exports worth 3 billion 751 million 656 thousand dollars. The sector was followed by chemicals and products at $2 billion, 367 million, 197,000 and the electrical and electronics sector at $1 billion, 479 million, 757,000.

The sector that increased its exports the most in November was fresh fruit and vegetables at 44.2 percent.

The exports of the industrial group, which realizes 69.6 percent of Turkey's exports, were estimated at 15 billion 821 million 420 thousand dollars, an increase of 1.5 percent last month.

In November, in the agricultural group, exports amounted to 3 billion 290 million 836 thousand dollars, accounting for 14.5 percent of exports, a decrease of 1 percent, and in the mining group, 533 million 47 thousand dollars were made, accounting for 2.3 percent of exports, an increase of 9.8 percent.

Most exports are to Germany

The top three exporting countries last month were Germany with 1 billion 658 million 520 thousand dollars, the United Kingdom with 1 billion 215 million 753 thousand dollars and Italy with 1 billion 87 million 449 thousand dollars.

The three cities with the highest exports during this period were Istanbul with 7 billion 336 million 497 thousand dollars, Kocaeli with 1 billion 882 million 165 thousand dollars and Bursa with 1 billion 610 million 75 thousand dollars.
