Adana Governor Yavuz Selim Köşger made a statement to journalists at the Governorate regarding the TEKNOFEST event at Adana Airport.
Köşger explained that they expect a high level of participation in the aerospace and technology festival: “So far, the number of applications from students and competitors is quite high. We expect TEKNOFEST to have more than 1.5 million visitors,” he said.
Governor Köşger stated that there has been a strong regional participation in TEKNOFESTs in previous years and said, “This year we expect a very high participation from Mersin, Adana, Osmaniye, Hatay and the whole region. I hope that we will organize a festival that will appeal to the whole of Turkey and set an example,” he said.

Köşger reminded that major events such as the International Orange Blossom Carnival and the Taste Festival are held in Adana and said:
“We expect to hold TEKNOFEST in the same way and with great success. Hopefully the Bayraktar family will come, there will be Turkish stars, air shows and competitions. Elon Musk has also promised to participate. We are waiting for him.”
TEKNOFEST, which will be held in the city from October 2 to 6, will include air shows, science shows, a TEKNOFEST discovery game, simulation experience areas, educational workshops, event booths from stakeholder and sponsor brands, as well as exhibitions, shows and concerts.
