Moody's: Growth in Turkey will increase, inflation will fall

Moody's has released the Global Structured Finance Report, which publishes economic growth and inflation forecasts for the G20 countries. The report also included the organization's forecasts for the Turkish economy this year, 2026 and 2027.

Accordingly, Moody's forecast that after Turkey's economy grew by 3.2 percent this year, economic growth would rise to 3.4 percent in 2026 and 3.5 percent in 2027.

Moody's predicted that inflation in Turkey will be 35 percent in 2025 with a plus/minus margin of 2 percent and that this rate will fall to 22 percent next year and 18.5 percent in 2027.

While the institution forecasts the U.S. economy will grow 1.8 percent in 2026 and 1.9 percent in 2027 after growing 2 percent this year, the euro zone's economic growth forecast is 1.1 percent this year, 1.3 percent next year and 1.4 percent in 2027.

Moody's expects China's economy to grow 5 percent this year, 4.5 percent next year and 4.2 percent in 2027, and announced its growth forecasts for India at 7 percent this year, 6.4 percent in 2026 and 6.5 percent in 2027.
