Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır informed about the “Call to Participate in Global Entrepreneurship Events in 2026”.
Kacır, who wants local entrepreneurs to take part in the world's most prestigious technology stops, said:
“We enable our entrepreneurs to participate in global events. With the vision of the National Technology Move, we support our companies in taking a stronger place on the global stage. We invite our entrepreneurs to apply for your place at technology and entrepreneurship events in Cologne, Lisbon, Helsinki, Las Vegas and Doha to introduce your company to the world, meet international investors and open the door to new collaborations.”
Stating that they offer entrepreneurs visibility on a global level, direct contact with international investors, new collaborations, commercial connections, the opportunity to access new markets and the opportunity to follow current developments in technology locally, Kacır explained that applications can be submitted until Sunday, May 31, 11:59 p.m.
Every year more than 100 Turkish startups expand into global markets
According to the information in the statement, more than 100 Turkish companies will be opened to global markets every year under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology in cooperation with Ankara Development Agency (ANKARAKA), Western Mediterranean Development Agency (BAKA), Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA), Istanbul Development Agency (İSTKA), İzmir Development Agency (İZKA) and Mevlana Development Agency (MEVKA) every year.
As part of the call, Turkish technology startups will participate in Gamescom to be held in Cologne, Germany from August 26th to 30th, Web Summit Lisbon to be held in Lisbon, Portugal from November 9th to 12th, Slush to be held in Helsinki, Finland from November 18th to 19th, Consumer Electronics Show (CES) to be held in Las Vegas from January 6th to 9th, 2027, USA, and the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) taking place in Las Vegas, USA on January 31, 2027 to February 3, 2027. It is planned to support their participation in the Web Summit Qatar events in Doha, Qatar.
