Minister Fatih Kacır held bilateral meetings after delivering the opening speech of the Tech.EU Summit in the capital London, where he was scheduled to take part in a number of programs.
Kacır met with international venture capital fund managers whose total volume exceeds $30 billion.
Minister Kacır explained the technology startup ecosystem and incentive system in Turkey and invited funds and companies to invest in Turkey.
Kacır also held a bilateral meeting with British Minister of Technology and Digital Economy Saqib Bhatti and Minister of Regulatory Reform Dominic Johnson. At the meetings, opportunities for mutual cooperation and investments were discussed.
Minister Kacır invited both ministers to Saha Expo and TEKNOFEST in Turkey, introduced Turkey's local and national electric car TOGG and presented its model as a gift.
It was learned that the interlocutors stated that they were satisfied with the cooperation between the two countries and that there was greater potential in this cooperation. It was reported that the ministers, who described developments in the defense industry and research and development as particularly impressive, said they would visit Turkey as soon as possible.
