March inflation figures, which represent the third inflation data of the year, will be announced tomorrow by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
The change in CPI in February was 2.96 percent compared to the previous month, 7.95 percent compared to December last year, 31.53 percent compared to the same month last year and 33.39 percent compared to the 12-month average.
Inflation expectations survey completed
The expectations survey on March inflation data, which will be announced tomorrow by the Turkish Statistical Institute, was completed with the participation of 32 economists.
The average monthly inflation expectation of economists participating in the March survey was 2.40 percent. Economists' inflation expectations for March were between 2.04 percent and 3 percent.
According to economists' average inflation expectations for March (2.40 percent), the annual inflation rate, which was 31.53 percent in February, is expected to fall to 31.46 percent in March.
On the other hand, economists' average inflation expectations for the end of 2026 were 25.91 percent in March.
