According to the Energy Market Regulatory Authority's “Liquefied Petroleum Gases (LPG) Market Sector Report” for October, Algeria, Russia, the United States, Kazakhstan and Croatia were the countries from which the most imports were made by refining and distribution license holders.
LPG imports fell 17 percent in October compared to the same month last year, reaching 251,262 tonnes.
During this period, LPG exports from refinery and distribution license holders fell by 28.8 percent, reaching 27,250 tons.
Exports were made to 7 countries and regions: Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Romania, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Switzerland, Lebanon and Türkiye Free Trade Zone.
LPG production increased by 2.89 percent during the same period, reaching 77,000 61 tons.
The total LPG sales of distribution license holders in October compared to the same month last year were estimated at about 329,541 tonnes.
With a market share of 82.68 percent, autogas took first place in sales in the reporting month. This was followed by sales of bottled LPG at 14.09 percent and sales of bulk LPG at 3.23 percent.
