Fars News Agency published the statement by Lt. Col. Ibrahim Zulfikari, spokesman for the headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya, the unit in charge of warfare for the Iranian armed forces.
The statement noted that no missile or unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operation had been carried out against the UAE in recent days and stressed that the UAE Defense Ministry's report on the matter was not true.
The statement said: “The Iranian Armed Forces have not conducted any missile or unmanned aerial vehicle operations against the UAE in recent days. If an action had been carried out, we would have announced it clearly and decisively.” Expressions were used.
The statement also noted that in the event of an attack on Iran from the territory of the United Arab Emirates, there would be a harsh response.
Alleged Iranian attack on the United Arab Emirates and Oman
Yesterday it was claimed that Iran had launched unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacks on the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
The UAE said a fire broke out in the oil industry zone in Fujairah and three people were injured in the attack.
The statement from the UAE Ministry of Defense said that air defense systems intercepted 12 ballistic missiles, 3 cruise missiles and 4 UAVs from Iran.
