In its written statement, the Revolutionary Guard said that “the US F-35 fighter jet was shot down by Iranian air defense systems in the central parts of Iran and the fighter aircraft was severely damaged.”
The Revolutionary Guard Army also stated that “the fate of the heavily damaged F-35 fighter jet is not yet clear, but there is a high probability that it will crash.”
Likewise, the Iranian media shared images captured by the thermal imaging camera of the air defense systems, which reportedly included the moments when the US F35 aircraft was shot down and a fighter jet was attacked with an anti-aircraft missile.
