Iran: There is a possibility that the Memorandum of Understanding will be signed digitally in the next few days

Arakchi made statements about the agenda on Iranian state television.

Foreign Minister Arakchi said: “There is a possibility that the Memorandum of Understanding will be signed digitally in the next few days.” he said.

Stating that there will be no negotiations on the final agreement if the points of the Memorandum of Understanding are not implemented, Arakçi said: “If the status of 60 percent enriched uranium is to be clarified, the only way to achieve this is to dilute this material in Iran.” he said.

Arakchi explained that the lifting of the Strait of Hormuz and the US-imposed naval blockade were included in the possible memorandum of understanding, saying:

“The management of the Strait of Hormuz will no longer be the same as before. The Strait is under the sovereignty of Oman and Iran. Previously, the two countries provided services in the Strait free of charge.”

We have had positive discussions with Oman on the management of the Strait of Hormuz. Our sword will be over the Strait of Hormuz.”

Stating that a mechanism is in place for Iran's frozen assets, Arakchi said: “This agreement has enemies, and the Israeli regime is at the forefront.” he said.

Arakçi stressed that he disagreed with the texts published in the media and concluded: “If we were to withdraw due to threats to our infrastructure, we would have done so earlier.
