A statement on the matter was made on the social media account of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Naval Command.
The statement said: “The Strait of Hormuz will never return to the old order, especially for the US and Israel.” Expressions were used.
It noted that the Revolutionary Guard Navy is in the process of completing operational preparations for the draft “new order for the Persian Gulf,” which Iranian officials reported.
It was stated that the draft law in the Iranian parliament that would impose fees for passage through the Strait of Hormuz was passed by the National Security Commission on March 31.
It was noted that the content of the bill in question includes “financial regulations and the introduction of tolls based on the national currency, the rial, a transit ban for the USA and Israel, a ban on the participation of countries in unilateral sanctions against Iran, the implementation of Iran's sovereign role and the authority of its armed forces, the security of the strait and maritime transport, environmental issues and legal cooperation with Oman.”
