According to The Times of Israel newspaper, the group has 19,000 secret photos and videos, and these images also reveal secret meetings that were not previously made public.
The Iran-linked hacking group Handala released secret photos and videos they took by breaking into the devices of Halevi, who resigned from office last year.
The group said on its website that it has been monitoring Halevi for many years: “All of your top secret facilities, crisis rooms, maps and even the finest details of your command centers have long been like an open book to us.” he said.
The group published dozens of photos and videos showing the former Israeli chief of staff touring military bases, meeting with pilots, holding briefings and meetings and working in his office.
In one picture, Halevi was seen meeting his counterpart Yusuf al-Huneyti in Jordan and presenting him with a dagger that belonged to a Jordanian soldier who lost his life in the 1967 “Six-Day War.”
The group also published photos of Halevi's secret meetings with former US Central Command (CENTCOM) commander Michael Kurilla and Qatari officials in Qatar while he was on duty.
Handala previously revealed that he had hacked the phones of former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, former Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's chief adviser Tzachi Braverman.
Halevi was Israel's chief of staff from January 2023 to March 2025.
