HAVELSAN, the Turkish defense industry's leading simulator manufacturer, has achieved another success that demonstrates its capabilities in this field.
With the Airbus A320 Full Flight Simulator developed for THY, the company received the EASA Level D certificate.
Thus, within the framework of the contract for the supply of 11 A320 CEO/NEO and Boeing 737 Max FFS and FTD to THY, HAVELSAN produced and delivered the second of three Airbus A320 FFS and received the first EASA Level D certificate in 2024.

Commenting on this certificate, which shows that HAVELSAN can provide world-class pilot training equipment made in Turkey to the global aviation and pilot training industry, Mehmet Akif Nacar, General Manager of HAVELSAN, said: “With this certificate, we are pleased that the first The A320 Full Flight Simulator of 2024 has received EASA certificate: “This symbolizes our shared determination with Turkish Airlines to ensure that the simulator training infrastructure meets global standards,” he said.
HAVELSAN had announced that from 2024 it would increase its activities and support for airlines and simulator training centers and work with airlines to help them expand the operations of their simulator training centers with flexible methods as well as the ability to produce up to 8 full flight simulators per Year.
HAVELSAN also announced to the public the cooperation agreement signed with the International Aviation Training Center (IFTC).
