Hamas: Burning down two mosques in the West Bank is a fascist crime

Mahmoud Mardavi, one of the Hamas administrators, said in his statement that the burning of two mosques in the cities of Nablus and Tulkarim was “a clear violation of Islamic sanctity” that should not be kept quiet.

Merdavi explained that in two separate attacks on the same day, the Israelis set fire to a mosque in the village of Kur, south of Tulkarim, and another mosque under construction in the city of Kusra, south of Nablus, saying that the attacks were “an open attack that disregards all religious, moral and human values.”

Merdavi noted that the attacks in question “reveal the extent of the occupation and the regression and fascism of the Israelis.”

Mardavi called on the Palestinian people to take measures to defend their mosques and holy places, saying that the Palestinians will not allow such attacks and will resist such violations.

Mardawi called on Islamic and Arab countries and the “free people of the world” to take a firm stance against Israeli attacks on Islamic shrines and to prosecute the perpetrators of the attacks and the Israeli officials who encouraged the commission of these crimes.
