Gazprom's statement said that underground natural gas storage facilities in Europe are slowly filling up and the difference has increased compared to last year.
The statement noted that the amount of natural gas in warehouses in Europe as of July 7 was 10.3 billion cubic meters lower compared to the same date last year, and emphasized that if warehouses were filled at the current rate, natural gas supplies in Europe could remain below 75 percent as of October 1.
The statement noted that insufficient reserves in underground natural gas storage facilities in Europe could pose significant risks to reliable gas supplies to consumers in the coming winter.

In Europe, where gas prices have risen due to developments in the Middle East, LNG imports from the Gulf states have also been disrupted due to conflict.
Russia's gas exports to Europe also fell significantly due to the sanctions.
