Funeral prayers were held in Tehran for former Iranian leader Khamenei

A memorial service was held in Tehran for Khamenei and his family members who lost their lives in the attacks.

Ayatollah Cafer Sobhani led the funeral prayer, which was performed in the private area of ​​the Imam Khomeini Musalla Mosque.

The funeral prayer was attended by hundreds of thousands of Iranians who came to the ceremony area in the early hours of the morning with flags in hand.

Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian, military and political officials and clergy attended the mourning ceremony.

Tomorrow, Khamenei's body will be returned to the city of Qom after a farewell ceremony in the streets of the capital.
