Fines from RTÜK to 3 television channels

According to RTÜK, the Supreme Council, which met to examine the broadcasting violations on the agenda, imposed sanctions on TV8, TLC and Kanal 26.

RTÜK, “Die!” Broadcast on the TLC channel He stated that violence was shown and normalized in the film as a solution method and decided that the production violated the principles of the broadcast. For this reason, administrative fines and program bans were imposed on TLC, with the decision that the program was “promoting and promoting violence.”

The Supreme Council found that the statements made to a 70-year-old participant in the program “Zuhal Topal'la Yemekteyiz” on TV8 violated human dignity and humiliated the person.

It was found that the dialogues in question continued despite the participant's warnings, that these insults were saved in the edited episode for evaluation purposes and that the moderator had not intervened in the situation.

For this reason, TV8 was fined for violating the principles of “respect for human dignity” and “no humiliation of people”.

An administrative penalty was imposed on the broadcaster for the derogatory and degrading language used in the program “Open Football” broadcast on Channel 26.​​
