In his written statement, Minister Bolat stated that Türkiye achieved another historic success in line with its production, investment, employment and export-led growth vision.
Referring to the exports made in this context, Bolat said: “With the export of 2 billion 428 million dollars on Friday, May 22, 2026, the daily export record in the history of our Republic was renewed once again. We enter Eid al-Adha with the joy of the new daily export record. This historic success is achieved by our governments in line with the strong leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the vision of the Turkish century. The strong productive capacity of our country, the dynamic Private sector structure and the competitiveness of our exporters in world markets “It is a concrete result of the export-oriented policy implemented for 23 years,” he said.
Bolat also stated that Türkiye has recorded a steady and determined increase in exports over the years, reaching the annual export level of $1 billion for the first time in 1973.

Recalling that Türkiye exceeded the monthly export figure of 1 billion dollars for the first time in 1987, Bolat emphasized that the country managed to achieve a strong economic structure that could export 2 billion 428 million dollars daily. Bolat drew attention to the economic and trade policies implemented under the leadership of President Erdoğan, noting that Türkiye has become an economy of the country that is strengthening its production infrastructure, supporting high value-added exports, opening up new markets and increasing its effectiveness in global trade.
Ömer Bolat emphasized that the ministry has taken measures in all areas, from exporters' access to adequate financing to market entry activities, from branding to strengthening logistics infrastructure, and that it continues to pursue decisive policies in this sense, and made the following assessments:
“We would like to thank all our exporters, producers, industrialists, SMEs, farmers, artisans, the logistics and transport sector and the ministry staff who contributed to the renewal of the daily export balance in the history of our Republic, and we wholeheartedly congratulate them on this historic achievement. We will continue our work with determination and determination for Turkey, which produces, grows, creates jobs and opens up more to the world in line with the vision of the Turkish Century.”
