According to the statement from the Defense Industry Presidency, the “Defense Industry 101” and “Defense Industry 401” courses, jointly initiated by the Council of Higher Education and the Defense Industry Presidency and organized under the coordination of the Defense Industry Academy, were launched.
The opening lecture was given by the President of the Defense Industry, Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün. As part of the Defense Industry 101 course; The aim is to introduce first- and second-year engineering students to the defense industry ecosystem, increase their industry-specific interest and knowledge, and support them in their future planning by discovering their own talents.
The aim of the Defense Industry 401 course is to introduce the defense industry to 3rd and 4th year students in engineering faculties and to bring qualified workers into the sector.

Görgün, whose views were included in the statement, explained that they will offer a guarantee of employment in the industry to the three students who complete the Defense Industry 401 course with the highest average.
Görgün explained that their goal is to introduce young people to the defense industry through training programs, expand the knowledge of young people in this field and bring qualified human value to the sector by training future soldiers of the defense industry.
Görgün explained that today thousands of engineers and scientists in Turkey have a platform where they can translate their discoveries into projects and put their projects into practice, adding:
