Electrical and electronic equipment exports have broken a record in six months

According to the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), Turkey's exports increased by 3.6 percent in the first half of the year, reaching $136.1 billion.

During the same period, the electrical and electronics sector broke the sector's all-time first-half export record in the January-June period with an export value of $9.1 billion, up 9.8 percent.

With its exports in the January to June period, the sector ranked third among Türkiye's major export sectors.

In June, the sector's exports increased by 30.6 percent compared to the same month last year, reaching 1 billion 664.6 million dollars.

The industry's largest export was to the United Kingdom

The highest exports in the electrical and electronics sector in the first half of the year went to the United Kingdom with $901.3 million, followed by Germany with $686.9 million, the USA with $679.2 million, Poland with $394.6 million and Ukraine with $364.1 million.

The USA was at the top when it came to increasing the value of exports. During this period, exports of the electrical and electronics sector to the country increased by $197.7 million. In terms of export growth, this country was followed by Ukraine with $176.7 million, Poland with around $126 million and the United Kingdom with $86.2 million.
