The Turkish Statistical Institute announced construction production index data for April.
Accordingly, the index rose by 2.1 percent on an annual basis in April.
Looking at the construction sub-sectors, the construction sector index remained the same in the month in question compared to the same month last year, while the non-commercial construction sector index increased by 12.3 percent and the private construction sector index increased by 2.7 percent.
The construction production index rose by 0.7 percent monthly in April.
While the building construction sector index rose by 0.9 percent month-on-month, the non-building construction sector index rose by 1.4 percent, while the private construction sector index fell by 0.5 percent.
