The Turkish Statistical Institute announced the statistics of poultry production for February.
Accordingly, 218,000 260 tons of chicken meat were produced in February. This production increased by 8.2 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, while 6.4 percent decreased compared to the previous month.
Chicken production fell by 6.4 percent per month in February and 10.8 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. During this time, 1 billion 547 million 93,000 chicken eggs were produced.
The number of chickens lowered in February was recorded with an increase of 5.8 percent per year with 115 million 549,000.
In January to February, chicken production fell by 10.4 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, the number of chickens reduced by 8.8 percent, and the production of chicken meat increased by 11.5 percent.
