CENTCOM said it returned 31 ships due to the US blockade of Iranian ports

A statement on the matter was made on the social media platform of US-based CENTCOM Company X.

“US forces have ordered 31 ships to return or return to an (Iranian) port as part of the blockade against Iran,” the statement said. Expressions were used.

The statement said that “the majority of ships complied with U.S. instructions” and noted that most of the returned ships were oil tankers.

CENTCOM's April 20 statement said that since the blockade against ships entering or leaving Iranian ports and coastal areas began (April 13), U.S. forces have ordered 27 ships to turn around or return to an Iranian port.

US President Donald Trump announced in his statement after the failure of the negotiation process between Iran and Pakistan that he would begin blocking the Strait of Hormuz.
