Boeing will lay off 396 employees starting next February, according to a notice filed with Washington state's Employment Security Department.
After the factory workers' strike in September, Boeing announced that it was planning measures such as a hiring freeze, a travel ban and the suspension of non-essential spending to reduce costs.
The company announced in October that it planned to cut its workforce by 10 percent. The US press reported that 17,000 Boeing employees would be affected by the layoffs.
Finally, a statement issued in November said Boeing would lay off more than 2,000 employees in December.
