Ban signal from Russia for gasoline exports

Rubtsov spoke at an event in the capital, Moscow.

Pointing out that Russia is in a balanced situation in the domestic market in terms of fuel, Rubtsov said: “Fuel exports can lead to supply problems in the domestic market. Therefore, if a balance problem arises, a ban decision can be made quickly.” he said.

While Russia is currently imposing a partial export ban on gasoline, diesel and some other types of fuel, manufacturers of petroleum products are exempt from the restrictions.

There is a rise in energy prices due to fears of traffic disruptions and supply shortages in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the most important transit routes in world trade, as a result of US and Israeli attacks on Iran and Iran's retaliation.
