ASELSAN CEO Ahmet Akyol visited Hacettepe University Adult Hospital on Medicine Day on March 14.
During the visit, the chief physician of Hacettepe University Hospital said. Dr. Bülent Erbil, Prof. Dr. Ruhi Onur, Department of Health Services of Hacettepe University, Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. Necla Özer informed ASELSAN Managing Director Akyol about the use of the mobile X-ray machine.
During the visit, Akyol saw the application demonstration of the ASELSAN mobile digital X-ray machine in the Department of Brain Surgery. Prof. DR. Onur shared with Akyol information about the “Artificial Intelligence Supported Decision Support Algorithm” development studies conducted jointly with ASELSAN.

On such a meaningful day, March 14, Medicine Day, we have written a new success story. We provided our mobile X-ray machine to Hacettepe University, one of Turkey's leading university hospitals. I would like to thank our ASELSAN engineers who contributed to the development of the device. We also started activities to launch the mobile X-ray machine that we donated to the Turkish Century. Our mobile X-ray machine offers great convenience to our patients who cannot go to radiology. The device with mobile mobility function will usher in a new era in hospitals. Our teachers know best what healthcare workers and patients need. When their knowledge came together with the ASELSAN technique, a very good product was created.

The device, which was first used at Hacettepe University Adult Hospital, began clinical use and was prepared for mass production. The ADR-M100 mobile digital X-ray machine has a motorized motion function and can scan the entire body with a power of 32 kW. The mobile X-ray machine, whose promotion and market entry activities have begun, was developed with the original design of ASELSAN. The device, which has a CE certificate, is drawing attention as ASELSAN's first medical imaging product. The device can achieve high imaging capability with low doses. Thanks to the movable vertical and horizontal arms, the device is very easy to manipulate. Since the ASELSAN mobile X-ray machine is ready to take photos in emergency situations as soon as the system is switched on, images can be taken quickly.
